Bedford County Technical Students Participate in TOYS FOR TOTS
Bedford County Technical Students are conducting a “Toy Drive” at the school to donate children’s toys for Christmas as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve TOYS FOR TOTS Program. Please consider donating to this worthy cause to make Christmas special for the less fortunate children. Toys will be accepted in the BCTC main lobby donation box through Thursday, December 1st.

Congratulations to our cooperative education students who recently graduated the JLG school to work program! All 9 welding students were offered fulltime employment at JLG upon graduation of high school at a very competitive starting wage.
Mr. Myers and several of his agriscience students attended the FFA State Legislative Leadership Conference in Harrisburg on March 13, 14, and 15.
The State Legislative Leadership Conference is held annually in March. This conference teaches over 400 FFA members, the legislative process. Teaching today's youth how government works is vital to the future of our industry and our country. Students debate actual bills and conclude the conference by sharing breakfast with their Legislators.

Due to the severe weather forecast, the Bedford County Technical Center will be operating under a 2-hour delay schedule tomorrow, Friday, February 25.
Today our culinary students opened up their kitchen to the entire school to purchase delicious treats. The 'Schoollie's Cafe' is open once a month to the student body. The cafe gives our culinary students a chance to fine-tune their customer service skills and all of our students something to look forward to.
This past weekend, BCTC students along with their teacher, Mr. Meyers, attended FFA’s Agricultural Cooperation Establishes Success (ACES). The conference provides an opportunity for students to collaborate with other FFA students from across the state and to develop teamwork and leadership skills.
The Bedford County Technical Center will be in session on Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21 for snow make-up days.
