New student orientation will be held on Monday, August 21. Group 1 (last name A through K) will begin at 6:00 PM and Group 2 (last name L through Z) will begin at 7:00 PM.

The Bedford County Technical Center is accepting applications for an Assistant Director/Principal. This is a full-time, 10-month position with a full benefit package. Candidate must hold either a PA K-12 Principal certification or a PA Career and Technical Administrative Director certification. In addition, the candidate must hold or be willing to obtain a cooperative education instructor certification. Prior teaching and leadership experience in a CTE setting preferred.

SkillsUSA officers at BCTC organized a school-wide penny "war" fundraiser for the Scott family who recently lost their home in a devastating fire. Today our student leaders presented a check for $2,678 to help the family rebuild.


As part of the roof framing and coverings unit, carpentry students learn how to install roof underlayment materials and asphalt shingles.




The BCTC Education Foundation is holding a spring Chicken BBQ on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in conjunction with the 2nd Annual BCTC Car Show. To purchase tickets, stop by BCTC Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:00 or call BCTC at 814-623-2760. All proceeds will benefit the education of our BCTC students.


Due to the forecast and timing of hazardous travel conditions, the Bedford County Technical Center will be operating virtually, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
